Wraparound Terrace Suite BATHROOM at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

This is one of a series of posts covering aspects of the Wraparound Terrace Suite.

MAIN BATHROOM
If spacious can be applied to only one room in the Wraparound Terrace Suite at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas it would be to the main bathroom. In most hotel bathrooms, many of us just trip over ourselves.

Start with double vanities separated by the glass enclosed shower. I despite shower curtains. I find them cumbersome and really impossible to keep clean so it makes one wonder if housekeeping has the same challenge. By it's nature the glass adds a further dimension of space to the shower. Though the shower head is wide and large, it does not have that rain shower effect that one wants. The tiny multi-colored tiles adds a depth of color while a two stainless steel trays provides ample storage for basic shower toiletries. Magnifying mirrors are mounted beside each vanity.

Though each vanity lacks a large counter, four drawers perfectly stores any extraneous personal items. These drawers gently close with light touch. Lights at eye level, large mirrors, and a set of hotel provided personal care items complete each vanity. A slender three-level shelf and tower rack hooked to one wall provides storage for shared items and holds a hair dryer and extra toiletries supplied by C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries.

The spa tub opposite the shower looks to offer more than moment of luxurious relaxation. Above the tub is a window that looks out into the bedroom and affords a view through the glass sliding doors. The intricately designed sheer panels can be raised or lowered to open up the view.

A traditional water closet keeps the toilet private. But something has to said about the wallpaper. It's an elaborate design in black and silver that resemble spiders but upon closer inspection appears to be the shape of four women forming the shape of each oval. Shiny surfaces from the marble floor and black counters contrasted with the soft vanity rugs all add deluxe touches to the room. The room even comes with a digital bath scale. Though with the easy access of Vegas buffets, it's probably a good idea to weigh oneself after returning home.

Best all of is the generous number of warm lighting elements that abound in the room, including ceiling fixtures,  gently illuminates every corner of this sumptuous bathroom.

SECOND BATHROOM
The Wraparound Terrace Suite comes with two full bathroom. The larger and more luxurious one connects to the bedroom. This second one located between the entry hallway and kitchen is a basic three-piece bath comprised of the same furnishings and fixtures, including the shelf/towel rack and vanity with drawers, as in the main bathroom but in a smaller space. The art-deco like wallpaper that is found only in the water closet of the main bathroom is plastered on every wall of this second bathroom. The glass-enclosed shower is still spacious albeit in a triangular shape. More C.O. Bigelow personal care products are provided here as well.

I found it unusual for the room to have a second full bath in lieu of perhaps of a half-bath since the Wraparound Suite is really designed for two with only a king-size bed. But it's part of extra features that makes this suite special.
