Filming of "Hereafter" at Charles Dickens Museum

In the film "Hereafter" directed by Clint Eastwood, the character portrayed by Matt Damon is an admirer of Charles Dickens and in the film visits the author's namesake museum. In the film, Damon is seen walking to the museum, touring it and eventually fascinated by the portrait Dicken's Dream (pictured in the previous post about the museum). These are press shots from a German newspaper on location at 48 Doughty Street in London. Several other of the film's scenes are shot at other London locations.

In the photo on the left, Damon holds one of the museum brochures with its red back cover. Filming was obviously done in winter based on the lack of leaves on the trees and outerwear of the cast and crew.
