In Other Words, Do Not Disturb

My interest in these signs continues. This is how guests request not to be disturbed at the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk.

It Actually Says Do Not Disturb

I've posted a series called "In Other Words, Do Not Disturb" for the creative ways hotels have reworked the ubiquitous the signs with clever alternatives. The one photographed above from my room at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas doesn't fit the category at all. But I've decided to post it because it's not made of flimsy cardboard. It's manufactured of wood with the wording embossed. There has to be something said about hotel that has such a durable version of the "Do Not Disturb" sign manufactured for its guest rooms.

Though the Paris Las Vegas hotel has attempted to tone down the theme of the hotel from when it first opened, it's still kind of cute that the do not disturb sign is in both French and English.
