The meeting rooms and ballrooms at the Paris Las Vegas Convention Center cannot quite be dismissed since my main purpose for this Vegas trip is to attend a conference at the hotel. The rooms are located at "le Centre des Conventions" at the back of the hotel accessed via the hotel's interior shopping boulevard north of the hotel elevators.

Walking into the main hallway that leads to the various meeting rooms one is immediately taken by the massive mirrors and chandeliers and ornate touches (from carpet to walls to ceiling) that recalls a walk through the Palace at Versailles.

The convention space is over 140,000 square feet of which the Paris ballroom at 85,200 square feet is the largest pillarless ballroom on the Strip. The conference I attend is in the Champagne and Versailles ballrooms both designed with old world French decor.

I get through the first full morning of meetings and upon entering the public restrooms in the convention center one immediately notices the voice coming through speakers giving French language lessons. Visit the restroom often enough and you could be speaking French by the end of the week.

Convention reservations at the Paris are made through Las Vegas Meetings by Caesars Entertainment. The organization also operates Bally's which connects to the Paris, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Harrah's, Imperial Palace, Planet Hollywood and Rio.
