Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel: Bathroom
What I love best about the guest room bathroom at the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel is the walk-in shower with glass doors in place of a tub and shower curtain. Clean, convenient and chic, the shower also includes a seat and a small stainless steel wire container to hold a bar of soap and shampoo. So far in my stays here the housekeeping staff keeps the shower glass sparkling clean.
Another stylish feature are the marble counters with vessel sink and contemporary faucet. All bathrooms have a hair dryer and a lighted mirror on the counter. The wood portion of the sink counter is perfect to hold any bathroom toiletries and slides across the counter.
The sliding door to the bathroom helps to keep the room feeling spacious. A speaker with volume control allows guests to listen to the television while in the bathroom. Although not as important today as in the day before cell phones, a telephone is hung on the bathroom wall.
This is one of a series of posts in review of the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel.
