D.C. Downtown Holiday Market Just for the Season

The market stretches an entire block length along F Street.
The fun thing about walking to a visitor attraction is you never know what may be nearby that may spark your interest. Heading to the Shakespeare Theatre, the Downtown Holiday Market in Washington, D.C. was in full swing.

For the 6th annual year, a unique and festive shopping village appears in the heart of Downtown DC for the holidays. More than 150 crafters and artisans exhibit their wares. The diversity of these vendors' products includes jewelry, pottery, clothing, painting & photography and soaps & candles. It provides an opportunity to find some unique holiday gifts. Note only about 50 of these exhibitors will appear on any one day.

Season entertainment is presented in the center of the market (chairs & heating lamps provided). Dotted along the market are various vendors selling treats, snacks and other good eats. Find everything from cupcakes, crepes, pastries, coffee, chocolates, empanadas and pork sandwiches. The market presents an opportunity for simple fun to window shop and soak up the atmosphere among visitors and locals.
